How much does a private jet cost?

Private jets are charged by the flight hour. A light jet for up to 7 passengers costs around 4,300–5,900 EUR per hour, a heavy jet for long-haul flights 9,500–13,000 EUR. Airport, handling and catering fees are added per flight. A one-way trip is often more expensive per hour, because the aircraft has to fly back empty. How much does a yacht charter cost?

Yachts are rented by the week. A sailing yacht without crew starts at a few thousand euros, a crewed motor yacht of 30 m at 60,000–150,000 EUR per week. On top come the APA (advance provisioning allowance) of 25–35 % for fuel, food and marinas, VAT depending on the country, and a customary crew tip.
