Private jet prices per hour 2026
The hourly rate depends mainly on the size of the aircraft. Larger jets fly faster and further, have a stand-up cabin and a toilet – and cost more. The table shows typical charter rates in Europe; in the USA, the Middle East and Asia prices are similar, positioning flights can be longer.

What is included in the price?
The charter price normally includes aircraft, crew, fuel, standard catering, airport and handling fees. Not included: VAT (in the EU depending on the route), de-icing in winter, special catering, and overnight costs of the crew if they wait for your return flight.
One way, return or empty leg?
For a one-way flight the operator often has to bring the aircraft back empty – that is why one-way trips cost 15–60 % more than half a return trip. Empty legs are exactly these return flights: they are sold 40–65 % cheaper, but date and route are fixed by the operator.
